The flowers are out, the fruit trees in full bloom and all around the area, restaurants and attractions are finishing painting and setting up ready for the Easter holiday invasion. I visited St Leon sur Vezere yesterday and the whole village was finishing off the extensive refurbishments of the roads and footpaths. Ladies from the cafe’s were carrying coffee to the workers and the maire was out checking everything would be completed before the end of the week. There is such a local pride its lovely to see. Had a wonderful lunch in a new eatery in the centre of the village, Lou Camillou, where the service and food were superb. A great family eatery for small prices. And the beer was perfect!
