Turn in the weather

Finally, we have had had some rain.  This may seem a weird thing to celebrate, but we have had an incredibly dry late summer and the gardens and fields and rivers badly needed some rain, which we now have.  Prospective guests ask me what the weather is like off season.  Well, September was wonderful with warm days and balmy evenings.  It’s a great time to visit with all attractions still being open and fewer queues and crowds.   If you are house-hunting, I’d definately recommend October and March, because sellers are more likely to listen to a lower offer and you are visiting properties its better to see them in all sorts of weather to get a real feel for the place.
